The movie Oceans came was released on 22 April 2010 in the U.S. and has received widespread acclaim for the incredible footage of the ocean and marine life. The film was several years in the making involving filming efforts at different locations around the world. It was produced by Galatee Films (the maker of Winged Migrations) and distributed by Disney in the U.S. The film includes footage of blue whales obtained in collaboration with scientific research efforts by Cascadia Research off southern California.
The film has received very positive reviews (81% positive reviews according to Rotten Tomatoes, click for reviews).
