Nicaragua trips 

These are participatory research trips for people who are interested in helping with whale research in a beautiful remote region of northern Nicaragua at a comfortable resort. It is designed to allow us to conduct new research on the humpback whales in this region, which have not previously been studied. In the past these have included two trips, one for adults and one for families traveling with their children (see below for links). 

We first ran these trips in 2006 and 2007 and they were quite successful with participants enjoying themselves and valuable new information learned to help the research. You can read about the 2006 trips and view some of the photographs (including those taken below) at the following web sites:
